The tire is fairly durable in nature for it is equipped with Schwalbe's standard puncture protection belt, LEVEL 3 K-GUARD. LEVEL 3 K-GUARD is the puncture protection belt made up of natural rubber strengthened with KEVLAR fibers. To further strengthen it up, the carcass of City Jet is made up of Active Line ingredients. Active Line ingredients comprise of high quality 50 EPI carcass as compared to the coarser material(20 - 24 EPI carcass) being used in low-quality bicycle tires.
